ReleaseDateKey Features Introduced

Release 12.70

May 31, 2022
  • The Player Health Rollup Charts added two new donut charts, Plan Status and Inventory Status, which allow you to check that players received the latest information from Content Manager and they can help you troubleshoot player issues.
  • Enhanced provisioning was introduced to support the LINQ shelf edge player.
  • The current status of your WAMP router is now displayed on Content Manager's home page dashboard, providing helpful messaging that can help you identify and resolve any configuration issues with your WAMP router.
  • In Content Manager's Player list, you can designate players as favorites by selecting a star icon next to those players. Then, you can filter the list based on your favorite players, allowing you to display only the players that are relevant to you.
  • Maintenance jobs can now be cloned using a Duplicate button, helping you save time when you need to create a maintenance job that is similar to one that you already created in the past.
  • Linux players now support ScalaScript interactivity, allowing you to implement touch screen buttons on Linux players such as the LINQ tablet. Additionally, hot key support was added on Linux players, which allows you to incorporate physical buttons or other accessibility equipment into your Scala solutions.

* For each release, the supported upgrade path indicates which older versions are safe to directly upgrade from. You should not attempt to directly upgrade from a version that is not in the supported path, as it may result in problems such as critical database errors. Bear in mind that the Scala Download Center allows you to access some older versions of the product that may allow you to incrementally perform multiple upgrades in order to get to the latest version on a supported upgrade path. However, if you are currently running an older version for which a supported upgrade path is not available, contact your support liaison for assistance.
