The $SMPR can only be purchased running the $LPE for ARM operating system.
The Scala Media Player-R pairs best with a standard (PST) license, allowing for single channel, single frame output for images, video, and HTML content.
Additionally, the Scala Media Player-R comes in a Scala Media Player-R Plus edition which has twice the amount of memory and is able to playback 4K content at frame rates of up to 60 frames per second. While you can still use the lite (PLT) license, a standard (PST) or advanced (PAV) license will help you get the most out of your player.
For details about the different licenses, refer to the License Functionality Matrix.
Recommended license for the Player-R: SW-PST-HD01
Other licenses you may use with the Player-R: SW-PLT-HD01, SW-PAV-4K01
A combination of the license purchased for the player and hardware capabilities determine player functionality. For more information about licenses, see the License Functionality Matrix. For information about licenses recommended for the player, see License Compatibility for SMP-R.
