The Scala Media Player-R is an entry-level, single-output digital media player in a compact design that is an affordable solution for stable, reliable content delivery. The Scala Media Player-R can only be purchased running the Linux Playback Engine for ARM operating system.

The Scala Media Player-R is a single output
Scala Media Player-R Plus has all of the features of the Scala Media Player-R with the added ability of playing back 4K content at 30 frames per second.
The Scala Media Player-R Tablet provides the simplicity of the Scala Media Player-R, with the addition of a touchscreen.
Setting up and configuring the SMP-L player requires you to first create a player profile in Content Manager. See Creating a Player in the Content Manager help for more information.
